Crown Point Latin Summer Registration!

Almost anyone around the world knows that Latin is not an everyday language anymore. Despite this, Latin still unifies people in enjoyment and knowledge to this day, allowing them to see the Romans in themselves and their surroundings. The greatest introduction to Latin is Crown Point’s Latin Summer program. For the week of July 6 to July 10, our fun and knowledgeable Latin students at CPHS will lead your child in learning about Latin, Roman culture, and Greek/Roman mythology. There is nothing bland about this experience, though. All subjects are activity-based and are sure to provide your child a great time away from home each day of the week during 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

In the past, students loved activities such as making Knucklebones (objects used for a Roman game) out of clay, and eating in our Roman Banquet, which replicates several courses of a real Roman banquet. Children will even be able to make new friends, especially since students come from all different schools in the Crown Point area. All students advancing from grades 4th, 5th, or 6th who live in or near the Crown Point area are allowed to attend. And so, let your child have one of the best weeks of his or her summer.
